Mike and Missy Kline
Mike started his apprenticeship in 1990 with William G. Dillon in his store in Nashville, Indiana. Within a few years, his wife, Missy, became interested in leather working and they purchased Mr. Dillon's business.
Mike met and learned from a number of other leather workers across the country and continued building his skills.
Mike and Missy spent years doing shows in the East and have been members of several artist run co-op galleries.
They opened their store in Jerome, Az. in 2005 while still running their Indiana store. They fell more in love with Arizona each time they came out, and in 2010 they made the move to live here in Arizona year round. With 5 kids in tow, it has been quite an adventure!
Their children, ages 11 to 22, all help in the Jerome store. They are learning to make belts, use the sewing machines, and the various hand tools needed in the trade.
Mike and Missy design and make functional leather goods, blending traditional and modern techniques. They use the highest quality leather and hardware. They proudly stand behind their workmanship, guaranteeing all of their products for the life of the leather.
“We hope you enjoy your leather purchase as much as we enjoyed creating it.”-Mike and Missy Kline
