Artist Bio

In the early 1990’s I was an art teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. When I was at an Art Conference in Sedona, I was one of 8 lucky people to be drawn to go to a special class taught by a local artist on fused glass jewelry. On my way home I got that tingly feeling that this was going to be an art form that I would really have a passion for. I have been learning and creating my jewelry ever since.
Flash forward… For 25 years now, I have been creating one of a kind fused glass jewelry pieces, and been in galleries from Prescott, Arizona to Skagway, Alaska. I was really pleased to be asked to join the many talented artists at The Gallery in Williams this year! The thought of having international customers taking back home some of my jewelry is really exciting! To think that people will be appreciating and wearing my jewelry around the world is very special indeed!
Your piece of fused glass jewelry is fired in a kiln at temperatures from 1450- 1750 degrees. I use a combination of dichroic and other fuseable glass to create my jewelry. Some pieces take 2 or 3 firings to create. Each piece is made with love from me to you.
